Andrea Fischer (she/her) identifies as a fiber artist living in Denver, CO.

With the strict use of recycled yarn, she makes one of a kind soft sculptures. Her color experiments mingle with her own self discovered technique of rug making to create whimsical functional objects.

She asks viewers to relax in an altered reality valued by recycled materials and COLOR. The repetition of yarn buries the existing surfaces of everyday items shedding them of any masculinity. Each detail is invested towards experiencing her interactive yarn sanctuary through more tactile senses beyond the eye; its true desire is to welcome all.

Andrea uses her skills for fine art, vintage and rug restoration. Sewing and yarn work has become a valuable coping skill she uses to thrive as a person with Bipolar Disorder.
